Howdy Do Fellow Mini Enthusiasts!!!
My email was hijacked, and a virus destroyed my computer, but I'm back to stay and I'm back to play!!! Even a top Senior Computer Tech was unable to successfully remove the virus it was so deep! My PC had to be "nuked", but it was so worth it. I was starting to have withdrawls after going more than a week without being able to get on the 'Mini Mania' website!!! Oh my goodness!!! And to come across this wonderful Topic on the Estate Wagons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A dream come true this forum! I'm going to bring this right back to the top of the list, AND NOW IT'S TIME BOYS AND GIRLS TO GET REALLY SERIOUS ABOUT POSTING ALL YOUR MINI COUNTRYMAN AND TRAVELLER ESTATE PHOTOS!!! Yes, the sweetest Mini body style of all time! The preference of the "Landed Gentry" this Stately Wagon truly proved to be! And one of the all time coolest Woody Wagons on the Planet Earth! Am I partial??? After owning (5) MKI Mini Woody Estates, I guess you might say that! And yes, I did just sell my "famous" completely original 1962 Austin Mini Countryman Woody Estate with an actual 36K documented miles, but not without having another Wagon already secured! And this one an old friend that I actually owned some (15) years ago!!! I sold it to a fellow Mini enthusiast just over (10) years ago. He owned (5) Classic Minis and decided to downsize, so gave me a call to see if I'd be interested in buying back an old flame? In ten years time, Rich had only put about 2,000 miles total on the car, having trailered it to most every car show, and keeping it well preserved in a heated Garage in the Eastern Oregon Desert. The paint job was completed just before I sold it. I chose 1969 Jaguar Carmine Red, (it looks like it's doing about 125mph sitting still!!!) It's not a typical fire engine or Corvette Red. It's extremely unique. It's got kind of a Ferarri feel to it. What was especially nice, was that this paint is still as perfect as the day I sold it!!! It needed to be polished and waxed and the Mini needed to be detailed over a (3) day period, but my oh my, well, you be the judge! I'm thrilled with everything about the Mini, oh, and the nearly $21,000 in reciepts, (mostly in the engine!), is definitely a perk!!! It's a crazy fast 1380 A series engine with some extremely serious credentials! (Oh yeah!) Ya gotta love it! Photos to follow>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mini Estate

Hi,
My we beasty's a Mk.II Countryman (All Steel). Built June 20th, 1969, (vis-a-vie BMH cert). She not the prettiest thing,
still a working work in progress, but she's solid & runs like a top. All #'s matching still too. She's still fitted with her
original 998 'A' series on an all-syncho Remote box w/ 3.76 final drive, 1¼" SU, even the push-button solonoid still
works. The only non-OE, period parts are the heater (restored from a Mk.IV), a duplex timing chain, tropical 6-blade
fan & a conical K&N air cleaner. her # is 1322682. She loves cracking 100km/h on the Queen's Highway.
Love the picts from all of you!
Here's to the Long Wheel Base Mini's !!!
Cheers,
Aden

Boy I sure hope ours turns out as well. Right now the only thing in mint condition is the Heritage Certificate :-).
Totally disassembled with all kinds of new steel on hand to go in and a turbo power unit to be assembled. The fully prepped crank is on its way home now...as we continue to pull together the bits.
