I bought the Mini with the trailer hitch already attached. It is a genuine 'Reese's' hitch believe it or not. I can't see how it's hooked up because the Mini has a full aluminum BL spec Rallye pan. Go figure.                                              Mini Estate

Here's a hitch setup for the LWB Mini/Clubman.  If I can find one in Oz I will bolt it on the Van and bring it home for close examination/refinement.

       Definitely go with the 10 inch wheels (whichever style you decide). I myself prefer the Minilights. I have beautiful genuine Minilights on my '67 Countryman Woody. They are spendy though, but the 'GB' Minilight style wheels are a swell alternative. Good quality, (made in Italy), and good used 10" 'GB's surface now and then. Nice to see your Wagon is well on its way! It's nice to see this Woody Wagon topic on 'MM' has been extremely popular for some time. Yes, I do Really want the S type 10's. Maybe I could sell these 12's and find some S rims. I do have the 7.5 S brakes, and want to use them. I agree, the S wheels are the look I want. I have quite a few regular 10" 3.5 wheels. I have plenty of time still. Just thinking...

It's already got 7.5's - go for the 10"'s Ron - I like cupcakes regular steel wheels with 7.5's - What it really needs are a set of S's (mine are still not for sale...) and that is not my wagon

As you are going to use 7.5" discs Ron I would sell them on and get some period 10's especially on a MK1 woody, just my 02c.

I am thinking of using these wheels I have left over from my first mini. 12"  but Ithink they might look nice painted up. I wish they were 10's though. I hate the idea of having to but 12's for one car and 10's for another!

Got my Subbys back, now just waiting on the body, and the parts I ordered.

RC 40s we've bought need shortening of the link pipe from collector to 1st box because they are made for LWB (too).

I am pretty sure they make the exhausts for LWB Mini's as well.

Planning on using the 7.5 cooper disks that came with it, I plan on getting some new rotors that are drilled or grooved. I also plan on a brake booster, but would want to go with the early type reproduction like I have on my S. On the exhaust, wouldn't it need an extension somehow? I thought the bean cans would work, and want to go with them to keep the original look of the car. I will be using the twin S.Us that came with it, I think they are 1.25's. Matt, let me know what kind of shape your cans are in, and if you're interested in selling anything you don't think you will use.

Ron, I would use the RC 40 again or a Maniflow. Are you staying on drums or 10 inch discs, either way I would consider using the late model brake booster assembly which works great (not original but some things need improving).

My '60 sedan had the bean cans on it (even running MiniSport 4-pot calipers!), and I think the '62 wagon I have came with the same. They seemed to work fine - but the single-circuit type older brakes scare me a bit. 

 

I'll be upgrading to the Wilwood pedal assembly and master cylinders for the wagon. They seem to match the superbrake kit well. :-)

What type of exhaust are you guys running, I have an RC40 on my S.

What type of brake resivoir do you guys run? The bean can type or the plastic??
