Chelecker, I wonder if anyone has ever done a hydro wagon/van??? I wouldn't think it would be a big deal other than longer pipes right?? Just wondering.

I have a set on my Flickr page of LWB Minis that includes a large number of photos of wagons that I have taken over the last 35 years or so. Have a look if you wish to.
Edit: I just added some more photos, some from EMW and a few that I didn't take, but were found on the www.

Thank you Ron!!! The photos that you sent me were a Godsend my friend!!! Those are some of the best shots of "barn finds" I have ever seen of Mini Woody Wagons!!! I shall treasure them and share them with my master model builder Mr. Ben Peers from 'Custom Die Casts' in the UK. Please check out his site at:

P.S. Please check out, 'ON THE WORK BENCH', on his site to get an idea of what he does! This guy is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you could maybe just remove the sawhorse from the roof, and take a closer shot from the backside, maybe another from the front at an angle. It's actually for a project. I'm having a diorama of an early Mini Woody Wagon custom built in 1/18 scale. The Mini is to be in a state of decomposition, (as in "barn find") I plan on sharing the progress with my friends here on the 'MM' Message Board. It should be an interesting transformation. I recently found a 'Kyosho' model of an early Mini Countryman in 1/18 scale for a donor car. My friend in England just received my model, and has recently begun work on it. Any photos for inspiration are greatly appreciated! Thanks Ron! Mini Estate Quote:

Rick,
Sorry, hockey got in the way. Ya Canada!! I sent you some pics via email for your project. Let me know if you need any other shots (he scores!) sorry not over it yet.
This is how the last two were found. They came from Saskatchewan many years ago and then sat. I took the radiator out of the blue one and it was plugged solid with Saskatchewan clay. Maybe that's why it won't turn over, hmmm. The engine in the brown one actually turns over so there is hope it may run. I believe its life ended when a fire took out the wiring harness and binnacle. I can see it was probably a race between two farm boys across open prairie...

These pics may bring back some memories, again thank you Rick they are my inspiration.

No factory hydo LWBs. The factory didn't want to spend the money to re-engineer the system, according to Pressnell. No hydro Mokes, either. (There's one home built one in Portland, OR, and it works very well.)

Ok, were there ever hydro woodys or vans? What is the average cost of a wood kit? Are there any pieces on them that are Very hard to get? I'm going to look at one very soon, and was just trying to figure out what I might be getting myself into!

MACMANRON - no difference in RSF between saloons and Woodys.
Car engines make CO2 and trees absorb CO2. By running your engine you're feeding a tree and helping the environment.

Just noticing something! Pretty cool actually. This topic presently stands as one of the top ten most viewed out of all (6) pages on the MM Message Board right now! The Mini Countryman and Travellers seem to be a pretty popular subject, and rightly so! I'm loving every minute! Keep it up guys and gals!!! It's long overdue and its been a long time coming! I just figure if your going to go through the trouble of doing a registery you shouldn't be bias to one particular model
whats the point of the registery if you don't keep the same info on all the cars
