Thanks Rick, Had some correspondence with Fraser, he's been teaching us a few things! We've not yet had any stuff off him but as soon as we do we'll get it up on the site.

I would love to have a Tin Wagon/Van, missed a great one a few weeks back. I want to do one up so I can go cross country in it one day. I would also be using it for the business, delivering shirts in a mini van would be great!!

Thanks Bill for your recognition! The site you and Ian and Nick have created is so worthwhile, and it is a privledge to be of help in any way possible. The Woodie and Tinnie variant Minis unite!!! The new Registry is such an interesting and valuable resource for us all! It is a pleasure to visit this site. The layout is remarkable! I encourage everyone to visit this site, whether you own a Woodie or Tinnie Mini or not! Thanks again to the remarkable Gents that have created this amazing site!
Mini Estate
P.S. Bill, I'm looking forward to seeing my good friend Fraser Davies, (Happy Nomad), contributions added to the site! He shared just a couple of snippets with me of his original (54?) page Press Launch release for the Mini Traveller!!! I have never seen these before. I can hardly wait for more! He told me that there is so much info, that it is going to take forever to scan, (I mentioned to him that you may be able to set up a seperate site to click on via the Registry to view these sacred treasures?) Anyway, small world! Fraser and I have been Pen Pals since 1988! It was only recently that we crossed each other on the 'Early Mini Forums'.

Thanks Chuck,
We currently have 49 external tank estates and 21 internal tank estates on the register. A significant number are from the States and Canada, so thank you for that. We are always grateful for information and photographs (Thanks Rick! ) that are sent our way for inclusion on the site. There are many more out there waiting to be registered so if you would like to join our Register please feel free.

Hi Guys , Thanks for continuing to put up pictures of your cars , I must update mine ,Woody now has a surf board too, it's a 9ft 4in 3 stringer Gordon Woods from Brookvale here in Sydney, the board was built in 64 or 65 . The foam on the board has shrunk so it looks like a tunnel board and it has a slight warp but I don't care it looks fantastic on top of my 70s roof racks and gets PLENTY of looks. I will post a picture very soon .

Excellent Don!!!
We can never have too many Woody Wagons, and that's for sure!!! They are so few and far between anymore. What are your plans for the restoration??? Are you going to go original or custom? How long before you think it will be completed? Just curious. Love the photo! Woody's Rule!!! Mini Estate

Just got the heritage certificate on mine: October 20th, 1960 and looks to have been purchased by a US serviceman (Air Force-- Strategic Air Command sticker still on bumper from late 60s/early 70s) and imported himself.
Kind of excited about it. super early heater in it, and it's all original panels and interior but complettely baked by dry southwest climate. Trying to track down history on it. Earliest record of ownership I have is may 1969 and Steven Hunter and Raymond Hunter (both names on title copy). If you've got info or recognize these names, shoot me an email, please.

Is it true that she used to sport a large airfoil on the roof? I am sure I will be cursing you the day I weld up those 8 holes!!!
I am going to keep the dual fuel tanks, I figure I can drive to Halifax on one fillup...

Greetings!
I wanted to pull this topic back up before it disappeared from the message board! It was on the last page! More photos please. The Mini Woodies must be getting really rare now. You never see them for sale anymore it seems? Here is a photo of a very rare wicker sided Woodie. Enjoy! Mini Estate

I have what I believe is a 66, ribbed roof traveller. It is a "Tinnie" bu I will be making it a Woody by the time I am finished...
It will have a genuine 998 Cooper power plant.
Still in the planning stage however....
