I have a set of stainless trim that goes between the wheels. I do not have the arch pieces that go over the wheels. If anyone needs it.
Willing to swap something for it, or whatever. I really don't need any parts because I don't have a mini right now, but I am interested in finding a mini panel van.

Martin, you have not hi jacked anything. I was just kidding as the thread sort of died after the tire post. All good threads die sooner or later. If we are talking minis we are having fun. Ten inch tires will become a problem. I wonder what becomes of old tire molds?

Thread hyjack.....
Hi Steve, remind me what thread that was! I looked at my history over the past year and can't seem to find the thread or one like it that you're refering to.
I did a thread a couple of years ago asking for a source for Colway MSR (Mud - Snow - Rally) but these are Colway's "Town & Country".
Hyjack over. Martin.

Miniestate you would be lucky to see a 20% gain on a stage one kit which would be around 7.6 hp based on the 38 hp stock figure that would put it more like 45 hp than the 55 hp quoted. As always it is more about torque than HP for regular street driving and the stage one does improve that on any A series engine.

I don't know where 27 hp came from??? A stock 848cc A-Series Mini engine produces 34 hp. To give you some idea of the unbridled torque, an early 850 Mini Countryman Woody Wagon averaged 0 to 60 mph in 33.8 seconds! A bone stock 998cc wasn't much better producing only 38 hp (Aussie built anyway) But a 'STAGE ONE KIT' does make a notible difference on a 998, placing the hp at a respectable 55 (approx). I would think a supercharger on an 848 would produce a similiar gain.

Let's be honest, I have no idea about superchargers. I understand they asbsorb power to turn them so there is some trade off. I think they are some what adjusted by pulley size and pop off valves. In my reading it seems a natural breathing 850 race unit gets up around 85 HP. I'm sure the C/R is above street level. I would think if they start at 27 they could be built to say 50 HP in streetable form. I have a 50 hp torque arm for my go kart dyno. Anyone want to build one and see what we get?

While they may not be rare the metal parts that hold the majic wand or remote boot in place. I have one for the remote and one for the rod change I'm not sure I have one for the majic wand. My requirement for that would be to hold the boot for the rod to pass though for an internal rod change for a vintage racer. Gee that doesn't sound right but I think you understand.

My guess and it is purely a guess would be 50% or thereabouts.

How much extra power will that supercharger give on an 850 or 998?
