The "Roll Bar" stops just behind the front seats and is there primarily to prevent the roof from collapsing in the event of a roll-over event. There is no 'cage' to protect the front cabin.

The "Roll Cage" surrounds the front cabin for a more complete protection - the cage extends to the A-pillars and includes a door bar for protection from side impacts.
