This fitting is used in Mini A+ blocks to connect the braided oil hoses to the block where the threads in the block are the later 11/16" type. It is also used at the other end of the hose to connect to the stock filter head and the LPX10026RACE competition oil filter head. It is not used for the most recent type TAM2097 heads as these have a 1/4" pipe thread.
