The head of this crank bolt has a large identification hole - for all Mini A+ applications. Used for all pulleys with vibration type damper, so also 1275cc Sprites, Midgets, and Morris Minors.
Question:
What is the torque spec for this bolt?
Answer:
We don't usually set it to a 'torque' setting, although I think the spec is around 125-150lbs. The best action is to put just a drop of lock tight on the nut, and hit it with a 100/150lbs impact wrench. And if you can lock it down with a lock tab, or safety wire.
