The Morris Minor front suspension uses a trunion at the top and bottom of the swievel pin (upright) to act as the pivot point. At the bottom trunion the pin that serves as the pivot is called the 'fulcrum' pin. Because this takes much of the load and has a metal to metal pivot (and is not greased often enough) it wears out far too often. Routine maintenence can allow for replacement of this fulcrum pin without the need to replace the entire trunion.
SAFETY NOTE: Please verify that all of the shock absorber bolts are present and tight. If the shock comes loose, the front suspension will collapse!!
