If you are tired of dripping oil onto your driveway and clutch, this crankshaft rear seal kit is the real thing. It allows you to replace the scroll seal with a real rubber seal! A special aluminum casting bolts right on to the block with no fabrication required. RIC777 (1275cc), Replacement seals only are available as RIC777/S.
The stock factory engine uses a 'scroll seal' which is not really a seal at all but simply a technique to try to keep the oil from not getting out from a rotating surface. There is no maintenance possible on the stock set up as it actually is a metal to metal system with no replacable parts involved. As it wears the engine simply leaks!
If the engine is a 1275cc then this is the kit you'll want to order:

There's a number on the fork - for 1275cc applications it should be 22G168. I would confirm you've got the correct fork and not the earlier 2A3406 out of a smoothcase gearbox. The release bearings are specific to 1275, as well. Confirm that all the parts are for the ribcase gearbox and not the earlier smoothcase. Mixing and matching will cause issues.
The gearbox front cover with the pivot for the ribcase is part 22G118. Confirm this, too, before looking elsewhere.
The only roller bearing we sell has to be used with a particular pressure plate that has the center part removed where a carbon bearing would ride since the roller bearing is so much taller than the standard release bearing. My guess is this is your mismatch. If the clutch package is at all worn it may be best to get a new kit so that you know the clutch disc, pressure plate, and bearing will all work together as they should.
Here's a page from Gerard's Garage that shows a lot of these components and the differences between them (FYI):
