Brake Adjusting Mask | Morris Minor 1954 Onward | Sprite & Midget to 1962

The Morris Minor brakes are the drum type and thus require periodic adjustment. The adjuster itself ratchets into place and works well, the mask is the carrier for the adjuster. But 'ratcheting' also results in wear to the bottom of the mask. If your brakes need too frequent adjustment- it could mean the masks are no longer holding the adjuster in place.

The masks are the cradles that the adjusters rest in. For all Morris Minor front 7" and 8" drum brakes and all rear drum  brakes (1954-1971) . Also for front drum and single-acting piston rear drum brakes on Spridgets from 1958-1962.
