I have a 94 classic mini spi, I want convert it to a put popout windows. Will an old Mk1 or Mk2 opening quarter window fit?

Answer:

Yes, I suppose it can be done. You'll need the latches:

And a piano hinge was used on the opposite side. You may have to find those from a specialty supplier. Will probably take a bit of trial and error to make it work properly. The glass may be different, too:

I would recommend finding someone on the forums who's already done this modification and ask them how they went about it.
