This Underbody Panel with Fan ducting is standard equipment on the following models with the automatic transmission:

There have been reports of Power Steering Pump failure for higher mileage MINIs. Here is the factory solution to extend the life of the pump - a special ducting system to supply much needed air to the power steering pump fan.

A remanufactured Power Steering Pump costs several hundreds of dollars - this ducting system is a small investment to avoid unecessary repair costs!

This ducting for the power steering fan is not compatible with skid plates. Aftermarket fan shield will also need to be removed.

Drilling required. Professional installation recommended. No instructions available.

These are the fasteners that secure the right and left rear corners of these underbody panels. Included with the new underbody panels, but available here in case they are lost or damaged.
