Question:
I have a 94 RHD Mini. My ultimate plan is to do a Vtec swap but I want to start improving it knowing that's the goal. I am looking to upgrade the handling. Knowing I am going to do this swap what can you recommend I do and or buy so that I can use those parts when I do the swap? I was looking at full coil overs but was concerned that the car isn't designed for that.
Answer:
The ultimate Kits we sell include all front suspension - and use QA1 coilovers on special mounts built into the subframe.
the rear wells are not designed for coilovers, and they can be used, just requires a little bit if re-enforcement in the mounting locations.
