A standard coil can only do so much, and when compression is raised (as in most high performance engines) or improper fuel mixtures occur something better is needed. This coil is a big improvement over stock and is a direct replacement for cars with non-ballast ignitions. Can only be used on Mini's up to 82. Also fits Sprite, MG Midget & Morris.

This is a non-ballast coil. It will provide the full 12v spark and is meant for higher compression engines than the stock type. When starting and running, the full voltage spark is applied.
