Braided oil line and spin on filter head kit for all A-series engines. Comes complete with hose and fittings, TAM2097 Spin On filter head, gasket, mounting bolts, and a Mahle spin on filter. This converts any A-Series block with the canister oil filter system to the much neater and cleaner spin on type. For manual gearbox car only - not for automatics.

If you have the later 12A Mini engine block, you need kit MMKT0040 which uses a different fitting at the block for the oil hose (does not come with GFE148 filter).


Note: If your older canister system had a low oil pressure switch connected, that circuit is no longer used. These heads have a ball bearing bypass valve that eliminates the need for that warning system.
