Classic Mini Red Coil Spring Hydrolastic Wet To Dry Suspension Conversion Kit
This "wet to dry" suspension conversion kit includes coil springs and is the most complete kit on the market. Nothing but the best; including, Spax gas adjustable shocks and replacement stub axles for the rear swing arms.
Your "wet" Mini is now over 50 years old and has probably developed a few problems with the Hydro system. The really bad news is that replacement parts can be nearly impossible to get and fixing one leak just means the next one will be in a different place! One final solution is to bite the bullet and go "Dry." This kit is our performance conversion kit with adjustable gas shocks, hi-lo's, and coil springs. See the Kits & Components tab for all parts in this performance kit.

Question:
Hello, I have a 72 aussie asmmbaled mini layland gt. i'm wanting to swap out old suspension-could you point me in the direction with everything I will need to do this job.
Answer:
Hi Fred,
Does your Mini have Hydrolastic suspension now? If so, that kit would be a good pick. Or, you could go to rubber springs instead of coil springs first, however, that would be the standard "dry" suspension set-up: https://www.minimania.com/part/MMKT0902/Classic-Austin-Mini-Hydrolastic-Wet-To-Dry-With-Hi-lo-Suspension
Hope that helps.
