At least 90% of all Classic Mini and Mini Coopers were produced with "rubber cone" suspension. While these "rubbers" usually work adequately in place of the more conventional (i.e. modern) coil springs, they do have a tendency to age poorly. Not only do they get hard (reducing their "springiness"), but they will also collapse. The result is not only a Classic Mini that is not comfortable to drive, but also one that handles poorly. This special kit not only provides for new cones but also includes new stock absorbers for the front and rear of the Classic Mini or Mini Cooper.
