Do you have an inline 1275cc engine where there is too much slack in your timing chain? Has your block been line bored too often? In the past an easy fix for this problem was to buy a oversized timing gear kit set but with these becoming scarce another way to go is to swap the timing cover with an A+ engine type that uses a tensioner to take up any slack in the timing chain.
These were standard on A+ Classic Mini 1275's but they can be used on inline engines with a little bit of work. We supply you with a new front engine plate and timing cover (with breather) that's modified to accept the new tensioner system. You can use your existing timing gears and chain and we supply you with everything else.
This kit works with either simplex or duplex (single or dual) timining gears and chains.
