I have a 1999 MPI Mini that is anemic, plan to instill the John Cooper Works kit: street ported head, 1.5 lifters, 52 mm throttle body (vs48mm plastic oem). Can the MDM274mpi cam work well with that combination?
Also considering your big bore kit making it 1380cc.
Any recommendations or am I heading down a good path?

The MPI camshaft is one of the few upgrades that could result in a performance improvement. The 1380 upgrade would probably exceed the stock ECU's ability to achieve the desired results.
