Genuine MINI factory replacement false floor panel for the trunk. This panel is included in the factory Storage Compartment Option S493A, and creates a hidden storage compartment under the panel. The underside Cargo Net is not included, sold separately.

Fits the following model(s) with the Storage Compartment Package S493A option:

2014-2022 F56 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Hardtop
2020-2022 F56 MINI Cooper SE Electric Hardtop

Note: This panel is included in the 2014+ F56 MINI Hatchbacks with the option S493A that comes with different trunk side panels with slots for the pivot pins. HOWEVER, customers have successfully used this panel in the MINIs without the S493A option. It covers the deep well and provides a hidden storage compartment without the full functionality of option S493A.

Will I be able to turn down the back seats with this piece in place with the option for Mini without storage compartment S493A?

Answer:

Yes, the false floor shouldn't affect the functionality of the rear seats folding down since the seats fold down fine on models with the storage compartment option.

i have a 2018 hard top 4 door mini. is this the piece that goes over the recessed area in the trunk? i don't know if it's a hatchback 55 or 56

Answer:

You have a F55, which would use part number G3NMI5103. We would have to order the part from the factory, typically takes us 3-11 days to receive it.

Do you know if this will fit a 2021 GP3? I see the vehicles that do fit, but was curious if there was some change to the 2021 F56. Thanks!

Answer:

It fits up to a 2022 F56, so it probably will.

Will this work on my 2020 MINI Cooper S 4-Door Hardtop?

Only if you have the Storage Compartment Option S493A.

I have a 2019 F54 New MINI Clubman JCW. I just want a panel that will cover the well, recognizing it won't have the hinges, net, and other things that came with the full storage kit. Would this fit the clubman?

Answer:

No, the false floor for the F56 will not fit the F54 Clubman.
I added the false floor for the F54 Clubman to our web site here. We haven't tested this panel on the Clubman without the storage option S493A so we can't guarantee it will fit without this option.

Do I understand correctly that this panel will still work to cover the deep cargo well in my 2020 F56? I don't have the cargo package - all I am trying to do is cover the well so my dog will have a flat floor with the rear seats folded down. Thank you!

Answer:

Yes, the third image on the product page shows the floor panel in the F56 without the cargo package. If your goal is to create a floor that covers the deep well, this product will work.

It may not be a 'perfect' fit nor does it offer the same functionality as the models with the cargo option. However it does provide a 'flat floor'.

Does this come covered in the same material as the trim in the trunk area similar to the lower panel?

Answer:

Yes, similar material as the trim.

We don't have an upper mat that will work as a false floor, but we do have the actual false floor here:

This panel doesn't fold, and you will probably want another mat to cover this floor panel.

Question:

We just bought a 2020 Clubman S ALL4 that has a lowered cargo area instead of the raised level false floor. Will this fit in the cargo area to create a flat surface for my dog to ride on?

Answer:

We haven't tried the false floor in the Clubman without the option.
It works okay in the F56 Hardtop... If it looks like you have a 'ledge' on the sides that might hold the floor piece, it will probably work.

Question:

Will this fit the model without the Storage Option (I think mine is the non storage option, as it has the 60/40 seats with no cargo adjustment for rear seats' tilt). It doesn't seem to have the clips or the hinge for the factory trunk cover, but I don't care about that, I just want a trunk cover to fit over the recessed area.

Answer:

We have not tested the G3NMI5102 floor panel on the F54 Clubman without the storage compartment option...
On the other models, the false floor panels fit without the options although not perfectly - good enough to provide the false floor.
If the side panels in the trunk area in your Clubman has 'ledges' where this panel would sit, I would say there is a good chance it will work.
