This is not a simple rubber strip, but a textured injection molded Thermal Plastic Elastomer (TPE) - this means it has 'some' flex to it and is VERY durable. This WILL protect the surface it covers.
This bumper guard is 37" wide and 3-1/8" deep.

Installation is very simple:
- Thoroughly wash, clean and dry the surface.
- Use the enclosed alcohol 'wipees' to wipe and dry the surface.
- Try a 'dry fit' so you can identify the centered position.
- Remove the backing from the 3M double-sided adhesive.
- Carefully apply to surface.

Hello, I was wondering if the R60 countryman adhesive bumper protector is permanent once applied or if it can be removed without special tools? paint damage?
Answer:
The G2NMX2601 bumper guard is attached with double-sided adhesive. It is not permanent and can be removed - no special tools required and will not damage the original paint.
If you need to remove it, simply let it sit in the sun until the bumper guard and bumper is warm to the touch. Then simply pull the guard off from one end. You may need to clean the adhesive residue after removal.
