Torque oil filter cannister to 25Nm or 18 lb-ft, and drain plug to 30Nm or 22 lb-ft.

Air filter should be inspected at every oil change and replaced when dirty. Remember, a dirty air filter will rob you of performance and gas mileage!

The MINI Service Information M11 01 15 dated December 2015 recommends the following engine oils:

• BMW Longlife-01 5W-30 Full Synthetic for vehicles produced up to and including Model Year 2015
• BMW Longlife-01 FE 0W-30 Full Synthetic for 2nd generation Rxx Model Year 2016 (Countryman & Paceman)
• BMW Longlife-14 FE+ 0W-20 Full Synthetic for 3rd generation Fxx Model Year 2016 and later.
