Do you have the receiver bracket for the pin? It is glue mounted onto the underside of the rear window shelf. It is the bracket that the pin is inserted into.

Sorry no, we don't carry the bracket for the pin. You might try the MINI dealership parts department.

Hello. Unfortunately we don't. For the later models, BMW only sells the the entire shelf.
FOLLOW UP QUESTION / SOLUTION: In case you ever got a question on this again - a 1/2” wooden dowel and redrilling the bracket a little works - was like a 5 minute project that cost me $2 :-) - maybe I’ll trim it and spray paint it black and you’d never realize it! Is this the pin or the oval. I have a 2009 MINI Cooper Clubman and mine needs the pin. I received a cover I bought used, but it has all oval shaped ends.
