What does "refurbishing" entail exactly? Will you simply clean it or will you recharge the metals?

The metals inside Catalytic converters do not deteriorate over time - they do however become contaminated by exhaust gasses, engine soot and oil blow-by from failed turbos or leaking components. So this service is like an ultrasonic cleaning for the internals of the catalytic converter cones and takes off all the built up gunk, restoring flow.
