This sensor is located on the intake manifold and it provides the ECM with information on the temperature and differential pressure of the air in the intake system. The ECM uses the signal from the intake manifold pressure sensor to adjust the position of the throttle valve.

Differential Pressure Sensor - The air pressure reaches the evaluator element through a hole on the outside of the sensor. The intake manifold pressure acts on the opposite side, allowing the sensor to detect the differential pressure.
