Before the days of Aeroquip, the British were making their own braided steel fuel lines. They should be used in place of rubber for all fuel lines in the engine compartment. They come made to length, with rubber end caps. British Length 14.5". NOTE: These hoses do not come with clamps. Clamps are available separately under part number ACH5854. Also fits the S Sprite and MG Midget .

What is the ID of the tube? 1/4”, 5/15”?
Answer:
Good question, it is slightly smaller than 1/4", but does fit on the fuel nipples on the carbs with a little work. If you are trying to fit it on a true 1/4 " barb, they will not really fit.
I do all of the SU rebuilds for the company and run into this with the duel carb set ups.
