What a way to bolt on horsepower! It is a known fact that the more air mixed with the proper amount of fuel can result in big horsepower gains. This new 7 port aluminum head is for sure up to the task. It has 4 very large intake ports that actually include the intake manifold to allow you to directly bolt on a pair of 40 or 45DCOE Weber carbs. With a stock 24cc combustion chamber and 1.3" intake valves and 1.15" exhaust valves and 185lb valve springs it will pull like a freight train. This assembled head can simply be bolted onto your stock block with no change of camshaft or exhaust manifold. And just as important it will fit under a stock bonnet with no body modifications!
The recommended Spark Plug is the 10mm version from Autolite 4303

Question:
Where do the spark plugs go on the 7 port head? I see what might be a spark plug hole in the picture on the web site under the #3 intake port. Are the spark plugs located under the webers? I am drilling the holes for the #10 and 11 head studs: 1) how deep should the hole be drilled on back of the engine? and 2) it appears that the hole on the front of the engine will penetrate the water jacket. True? Problem?
Answer:
The spark plugs are under the carbs on those heads, yes. It takes these: https://www.minimania.com/part/AUTOLITE4303/Classic-Mini-Spark-Plug-For-C-aht350-7-port-Aluminum-Cylinder-Head
Not sure about the depth for drilling - I don't believe I've seen specs for it but yes, the front one - which was originally a bolt on the Cooper S heads (and 5/16" - not 3/8") could go into the water jacket if drilled too far.
I would check around on the forums and see if anyone has those specs.
