Tilt Bonnet Hinge Kit Bugeye

Unless you are under 5 foot tall- you probably wear a helmet when working in your stock Bugeye engine bay. The stock hinges mount at the firewall and means not only do you have to watch your head but you also have a very heavy front end to lift open! Mini Mania has developed the answer; by installing hinges at the front of the hood instead of the rear the access is remarkably improved. And the ease of opening and closing can assure you that even the smallest of us can do it without effort! An added benefit is that the hood can easily be lifted off the hinges for absolute total access. The kit is easy to install and can easily be removed if future "perfect restoration" is needed (This kit is for use with steel OEM bonnet assemblies; a bit of custom fabrication will be required for use with fiberglass bonnets!)
