If you plan on using hoses with 1/2" BSP fittings with the RIC920-MS kit you will need this adapter. It converts the female 3/8" NPT on the oil adapter to 1/2" BSP. These are the hoses that come with the MOC-SPRITE-S kit and some of the oil coolers, as well.
