The Bugeye bonnet when either hinged from the stock location or when converted for forward tilting should have these simple rubber buffers. They screw to the inner sill just behind the front fenders. Not only do they help locate the front end but also prevent the panels from banging against the inner fender. Without them the back edge of the bonnet will not align with the hinge panel.
