I got Carlton running like a top! Came to discover the timing was off by a mile (19 degrees). Got that sorted out and it's like a new car. I also got my suspension redone up front with hi-los and new cones.

So now we have a new situation that has caught my attention. Over the past couple drives I have noticed the steering feeling a little odd. It's not crisp like it was, there is excess play in the wheel, and it feels like it wants to float around at free way speeds.

Any starting point, aside from just pulling the whole rack out? I haven't even looked under the car yet, but I thought this might be something that someone can offer some advice on.
