To prevent tire rub or suspension damage when you hit a large bump or lean the car during hard cornering, both the front and rear suspension are equipped with rubber buffers (bump stops). The front uses rubber cones (SUS122right, SUS123 left) mounted to the body, in the rear are large blocks (SUS710) that clamp to the rear axle housing. The rubber does decay with age and exposure and for safety it should be in good condition.
See SUS123 for left-hand version.
