This is the small half elliptic piece that you engage with your screwdriver to adjust your rear brakes. The outer edge is suppose to provide a course rachet for maintaing adjustment. If you are having trouble keeping or making adjustments- you probably need a new adjuster. These adjusters fit the earlier Morris Minor 7" brakes and are used on the front and rear. The cradle that they sit in is part number RBK114.
