This is a replacement for the Cooper with the compact spare, but you can also add this to the Cooper S when you store the compact spare under the boot floor.
Fits the following models:
2008-2010 R55 MINI Cooper and Cooper S Clubman
NOTE: This tray also fits 2011-2014 R55 Clubmans, but the slot for the tow hook is about 1 inch too short. Everything else fits perfectly. If you don't mind having the tow hook not fit quite right on your 2011-2014, this works fine.
If you have a Cooper S CLUBMAN, you will need to remove the stock 'styrofoam' tool holder out of the hidden compartment. To do this, you have to remove the top loading surface (the one that folds to get to the hidden compartment area). Fold the top loading surface and pull it towards you and pull up to remove it. After that remove the hidden compartment covering the tire well. Next you can get the foam inserts out easily.
NOTE: In order to ensure proper fitment of the tray, make sure you have a genuine MINI Compact Spare Tire. 'Similar' spares from other makes may prevent the tray from fitting flush with the floor. Geniune MINI wheel has 'MINI' stamped on the steel.
