Most Minis produced after the late '70's use a much simplifed 1 piece radiator shroud (surround). This is the metal part that hold the radiator to the engine. These one piece affairs are easier to install and maintain and can be fitted in place of the old 2-piece version with the addition of other small miscellaneous hardware.
