The common practice for inspecting pushrods is to roll them over a flat surface and then use the truest 8 out of a used pile! The pushrod is an important part of the valve train and must be in perfect condition for quiet running and optimum performance. There are two lengths; 2A14 for small bore (850-1100cc), measuring approximately 8-7/16" and AEG314 (1275cc), measuring approximately 8-3/4".
