Arguing with Bill is like wrestling a greasy pig - you're never going to get ahead let alone win, and at some point you'll realise the pig is enjoying it...

Just let it all wash over you like the rest of us have for 25+ years and enjoy the ride.

So I was curious whom you meant by the ML reference. Then I thought maybe you'd be referring to one of the past/current cons around here, before my time of joining this group. And sure enough once I checked that locked topic thread, the initials match. So you're saying that I'm best friends with one of them by the looks of it. You just love to constantly include these people in topics all over this forum, don't you? Just can't leave it alone. I neither support of condone their past behaviour and feel bad for anyone that had bad dealings with them. And if they show up again, they should be exposed and dealt with in whatever manner one wishes bring to them.
I'm also one that tries to take in more positivity than negativity in life. There's more than enough negativity in this world today. Don't need to immerse myself in it. So PhatHead, try to think and act more positively. And as mothers from the good ole days would say, "If you don't have something good to say, don't say it at all." No point soiling this thread or any others with negative BS that doesn't need to be in it, and have this or other topic threads blocked too because of it. And if you insist on keeping it up, maybe you should be blocked next.

Simple recipe for Excitement:  Take 1 Classic Mini. Throw in 1590cc's of engine. Add 5 gears. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style inside and out. Toss in 1 MadMan and finally heat tires and pavement to taste. Recipe produces 1 Mini VTEC conversion and full satisfaction. Motor on!

I bought my mini pick up as rolling shell for 5000 quid  in 2008.. taken me 17 years to get around to finishing it..  but it is the Cat Meow now.. with all new panels.. fresh  1275cc.. rebuild tranny  all new wiring and all new parts..   might look at www.ebay.co.uk   some pop up there from time to time.. all  in back or www.miniworld.com or www.minimag.com   . I think they only made about 47000 of  them. Dr Minis could give you the exact figure. almost all long gone. as they were used as work  trucks and put up wet..  inspection is must in person these days..  Markiss.. maybe you can ask your BFF..  ML to find you perfect pick up for $5k?/and at same time pull rabbit out a hat??

I was looking for one myself. Hard to even find a beat up one. Don't come up too often. So I went with a saloon, but still have a tugging heart string for a pick up. Maybe one day. Pick up for me, Saloon for the wife.
There was a Leyland pickup that sold on BAT earlier this year for less than $30.
I've seen a couple of vans that were cut and fabbed into pickups also.

Yes Mike, My old sign in wouldn't work and I don't have access to the old email I used for 20 years. I think I began as a youngster back before screen names were even a thing on MM...(who remembers dot man aka Bill before Stupic days) Good times indeed.

Lets find me a pickup for a good fair price :)

Travis, put contact info in your profile. I know a guy that had one a few years back that talked about selling. I sent him a PM, not sure if and when I will get a reply though.

Barrie Tilbury has a rolling project for sale in the UK.

South African car, sensibly priced.

Should be easy to find on Facebook.
