browser , good chatting to you the other day about this moke.. barry said he can make the top straps But needs the moke in person to do this.. hunnicutt trim..704.482.2793 here in Earl NC .. btw. you get your NC title on this ok?/ do the Lic and theft 270/ vin inspection yet?/ DMV will come to your house or office now here in NC.. later bc

Hey Rosebud. Thank you for the info on the Barris Auction. I did see it on FB and unfortunately I am not able to attend the auction to bid on Beach Boy Moke items that may be there. I did contact the auction house and ask if they had a list of items or if they had online bidding and the answer was no to both. If you know anyone attending I am always interested in compiling more information on these Surfer Moke's if they run across anything there.
With Justin's (Jedduh01)'s help the original Surfer Moke I purchased is now back on the road and drives great. The fur seats are really comfortable and the fringed top should be on in a few weeks. I will post some more pictures when done. The car really is a rust free time capsule and I am going to keep it as is.

rosebud. I know Dr Mini owns one the beach boys mokes.. and some guy in charlotte nc called me last week. seems he had won one in radio give away in south florida.. later bc

A while back there was a fellow here who was restoring a George Barris Beach Boys Moke. I told him I would keep an eye on Barris’s shuttered shop for any signs of activity. The shop just announced an estate sale scheduled for August 17-19. Among the cars, parts and memorabilia offered for sale in the ad, the Beach Boys’ Mokes were mentioned.
