Next weak I will try the car and see. I will find out more details...My only concern is whether there may be problems putting a new engine in a 6 years-old car (and parts)... However, the engine has also a 2-years warranty.....

1. the engine is a MINI factory rebuilt unit
2. the installer knows what they were doing (sounded like this was not done at the MINI dealership)
3. the shop will stand behind the 2 year warranty

Hello folks,
I am new here, hope you enjoy your cars!
I have a question for you... I am going to buy a second hand Mini Cooper Countryman D and I found one of yer 2012 at a good price (12000 euros). This car has a brand new engine which has been recently changed (only 1000 km) because the distribution chain has broken.
The work has been done by the BMW repair shop in Rome and is documented by receipts.
Well, my questions are: Would you trust to buy a car like that? What kind problems there may be? Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks a lot,
Pat
