DANG!
I turned the fan around the right way, and now you tell me I have the manifold gasket on backwards?
Is this true for all manifold gaskets wiht a metal face, or just the particular "Mini-Cooper-Injection-Intake-Exhaust-Manifold-Gasket"?

Which side of the gasket goes toward the cylinder head? I am installing a new gasket that has one metal side and is composite on the other. The old gasket was composite material on both sides.
