If you click on the minimarks name next to his picture his email address will show up in his profile. You can email him that way. Good luck and it's nice of you to restore the Mini for your son.

Big Daddy Chow, and Danu425, other WA state Mini Fans,

lease do send over an email so that we can get you two added to the Seattle Area Mini Owners Association.  We have a growing club with a very wide variety of cars from the very earliest to the very latest, and an incredible assortment of Mini variants and different countries of manufacture.  We'd love to have you on board.  Speaking of board, we have a web site   //seattleminiowners.com/forum/ that is being improved upon as we speak.  Also, monthly meetings, meet ups occasionally, attendance at fun car shows in the region, and many like minded mini fanatics.

My em is in profile.  Wishing you the best,

MSH

I'm in Anacortes, with a 1992 apart in the garage.  I'm doing the restoration for my son, who lives in California.  It has been a lot of years (I'm a gray head) since wrenching in my early years.  If there is any event scheduled in the area, I'd love to go to get some ideas.  I'm dealing with rust which is my largest concern at present.

Dan - I met someone yesterday in Kennewick with a Japanese 1.3i Mini with AC, so it seemed like a fair shot!

Martin, thanks for the vouching! I haven't even made you my Cornish Pasties yet...

Dan, if you are in Kenewick send me a e-mail - I'm starting a BMC mini club here and I'm fishing for members. (BMC - Benton Mini Club).

Anyone else in the Tri Cities know of classic Mini owners please pass this on.

Many thanks,

Martin.

P.S. E-mail in profile or phone at 5 zero 9-5 three 9-9 zero 9 seven.

P.P.S. I can vouch for Barky - a fine fellow - really wants a Mini but my NZ mini needs too much work for a new recruit.

I've just spent my morning driving around in Mr Martin Greenbank's Minis over here in Tri-Cities WA! I don't have one yet but if any of you guys know of a mechanically sound one in the area for $4-5k I may be interested....

I did notice the nice 998 cooper in Portland for $5800, I have an email in to them to see if it's still available. This one is still available too

//www.minimania.com/web/id/9919/Cars4Sale_Detail.cfm

...but it's Canadian - is that an issue for importing?

Otherwise if anyone has a lead please let me know. I'm not too handy repairs wise (yet) so would like one that would run for a while before breaking down intermittently. Cheers, Barky

Hey Mark,

We have meet in the past. I purchased some Mini Cooper rims from you when I had my previous 97 Special Edition Mini.

Here is a picture to refresh your memory. The guy that I sold my last Mini to, still has the car and drives it. As far as meeting

up at your place this upcoming Tuesday, I will try to make it...........

Hi Danu425,

I'm not certain, but I think we may have met in the past.  The monthly SAMOA mtg is at my place on Tues 16th @ 7:30. Northend.  Please feel free to join us.  Email me directly for directions; my email is in my profile.  I can also help you get past our registration needs.  We'd had to remove the automatic method due to intense spamming.  But, with an email to the right guy, we'll have you into the site and registering in no time.

That's a nice looking mini you have there!

Hope to see you soon, and,

Best regards,

MSH
