1996 Blue Star Mini. One of a 500 piece run for the German Market. Wood interior, 13" rims, various specialty leather stitching and a unique blue paint color. More info see here: https://colinbourassa.github.io/car_stuff/blue_star/
Titled as a 1976 due to being imported prior to being a classic year.
3rd Owner. 1st was in the German market and put most of the miles on, Second owner was in Minneapolis and put on approx 500mi / year max. I've put on much less due to a short commute and a small seasonal window to drive.
Car runs great and definitely catches eyes. All original parts, no modifications outside of some added speakers from the first owner.
Minor issue: slow coolant leak in a hose. Leaks clean coolant, haven't had time to nail it down due to life changes. e.g. moving, no work space, new baby etc.
Body in great condition: one scratch on driver's door and some small marks on the roof that I believe will buff out. Yet again, lack of space and tools.
Sad to see it go, but realistically I won't be having the time to enjoy it properly for the next ~5 years.
