scooperman is correct.  The king bearing site (//www.king-bearings.com) has this info....and more!  Thanks.

King Bearings catalog had all that.  Dont know if you can still download the whole catalog like previously (big), but I think the web version lets you search all the A Series bearing dimensions.

Big end eye diameter on a Cooper S rod is 1.7705" to 1.7710". An 850/998/1098 rod would be the same, they take the same bearings shells.

1.8965" or 48.29mm is listed for the main bearing tunnel bores for a 998 in Des Hammill's 998 A-series book. I think it would be the same for the 1098. And I finally found a use for a Des Hammill book. Smile

Hello:

I've looked in the Haynes, Autobooks and factory manuals (& Vizard) and I can't find the dimension for the main bearing line bore.  Am I missing something?  This is for a 1098 with the 1.75 main crankshaft journals.  Also looking for the 1098 conn rod big end dimesion for resizing.  Any help is much appreciated...
