Thanks Big Al for the additional advice.  Luckily for me I haven't camped lately, and I live in socal...in a city surrounded by city, surrounded by even more other cities.  Ticks are pretty rare around here given the overall lack of green spaces.  The green areas that are around are filled with homeless, which tends to discourage me from visiting parks locally.

On a more serious note, make sure ailments like that aren't the result of a "TICK" bite, they are all over the place this year-

Lol good story!  I am pretty sure it's just the flu, especially since the fever is broken and my energy level back up.  I don't get the flu often and the only real giveaway is the fever.  I haven't had a puky version of the flu since I was about8 years old...but when I used to get them they were BAD.  I am pretty sure I now have a partial immunity or something that keeps that particular type of flu from hitting me as badly.

Quite a few years back, I had been suffering from the occasional session of the chills. Sometimes months apart and sometimes daily. It was bad enough that standing in a scalding hot shower didn't help.
Finally decided to take my temperature once and was running a 102deg fever.
Mentioned that to my new internist and he ordered some bloodwork.
The next day, I got phone calls from both my internist and cardiologist asking, "How are you feeling right now?"
They proceded to toss me in the hospital for the weekend changing out a bag of cipro every 8 hours.... Had some sort of parasite in my blood....

What all this has to do with Minis? I have no idea. But, I suppose if yer runnin hot, you should figure out the cause and fix it before you blow a gasket.

Been feeling dehydrated, exhausted and creaky all week, and had not much appetite...I was blaming most of it on the dehydration.  Two nights ago it was so hot at night I could barely let a sheet touch my body.  Last night same thing, only it's not actually that hot that night and I knew it.  Took my temperture and I was at 100.3 degrees.  All the sudden it all clicks...damn, I've has the flu for a week now and didn't realize it!  Luckily for me he fever broke at 1am so I got a decent nights sleep.
