That vendor sells some that will fit the interior size but not the exterior.  I am considering getting someof the 3d stick on type, sized to fit the exterior.  For 16 bux including custom graphics you cant go wrong really.

Btw when I got home from the auto place I realized I asked for 50cm not 50mm.  I wasnt seeing any online that would fit anyhow though

Apologies for the thread hijack btw.  The origional topic was much more interesting for most folks Im guessing.

Lol you must hav bought some for a massive earthmover or something.  I went to the local parts store and they said the biggest they had was less than half that size.  It might be easier to find a 48-50cm center cap, though no doubt more expensive.

I can't remember the size right now-just measure the wheel hub opening and buy the metal freeze plug of that size.

Thanks Scum ( how often do you hear someone use that phrase huh?)!  I would love that guys contact info.  My lugs fit nicely but are pretty nasty overall and no amount of work seemed to improve their look.  Also thanks for the article... What a trip that those rims came as small as 5x8  Other than some brief mentions on here I have been unable to find out anything at all online about the pos-a-traction wheels.  If anyone else has any info please pass it on!

Yes, the rear gizmos would stop the doors from opening, so they must be built to swing down, any hard contact with them from behind would likely drive the upper ends into the rear doors, not a very smart idea

It looks like the metal would prevent the doors from opening.

I don't know Dan? Those gizmos look like they're made from tubed aluminum? I doubt if they'd block any serious 'higher bumper' contact? (about as efficient in protection as the raised Canadian Mini bumpers!) Let's face it, all the bumpers on Classic Mini's front and rear are for decorative purposes only! The "bumperettes" as they are officially named on the rear on the Mini Wagons, are just that, (they don't even qualify to be called bumpers!) Pretty halarious actually. They really are very heavy and stout, but they are only about one foot long each! What are the chances that anything would ever come in contact with them? I owned (5) different Mini Woodies. The only reason I ever replaced a bumperette was because the original metal was bad, (chequed). Over-riders is for sure a good guess, but I've never seen a single set of these peculiar add ones on any model Mini ever. They remind me more of something like the spring loaded curb detectors that my Grandma had on her '58 Buick. They are interesting for sure, but definitely NOT attractive!                   Mini Estate

When Clint was interviewed for Directing the movie, 'Gran Torino' back in 2008, he mentioned his neat little English Wagon, (with a big grin on his face!) Here's the interview in 'USA Today'. Please read the very end of the interview. That's where he mentions his Mini Traveller!!! AWESOME HUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I know, I know, he referred to it as a Morris Mini 'Countryman', but we all know what he meant!) It's really the icing on the cake after his Wagon photos turning up don't cha think!!!

RansomStark: I have a few sets of these wheels (thanks Willie_B!) -a good centercap to use is a large engine block freeze plug press fit from the back side of the wheel and then put the logo of your choice on it or just paint to match the wheels.  I got some NOS lugnuts for mine from a Honda Z600 parts seller.  I can pass his info on to you if you need them.  Also the Pos-A-Traction wheels were made in the USA originally for the Honda Z600's-which have a different bolt circle.  They then made them to fit other cars to include the Mini.  Good article here showing wheel photos and comparing the Z car to the Cooper S at the time.  //www.honda600coupe.com/Mini_Riders.pdf

Yup...that would be me!  Just got them installed last week after a lot of work to get them cleaned up.  It looked like a 16 year old owned them and ran into every curb in the neighborhood  Love the look now that they are cleaned up... but for the man-hours it might have been a better idea to get the good condition set of cosmics or dunlops you were also selling.

Yep, thos are Pos-a-traction alloy wheels. I recently sold a set to a forum member. Had I known they were also Dirty Harry wheels I would have asked more for them.
