If you look close in the catalog, you can see John signing one of the Corgi Models. There were only (200) of the 1/18 scale models signed by John. I've never seen one come up for sale in all the years I've been looking. I understand that a limited number of them were shipped to Japan in a special presentation box. I would pay top dollar should ever one happen to surface. Minicord, have you ever seen one of the Japanese Corgi Models that I'm referring to? I figure if anyone has, it would be you.      Mini Estate

Hi CupCake,

Thankfully the signed Corgi models were from a specific time period (mid-nineties) that John Cooper signed, (see his 'John Cooper Garage' catalog). That doesn't mean there aren't fake signatures out there though. Still, I doubt Michael has been forging his Dad's signatures on these specific Corgi releases, as I have contacted him personally to verify a couple of the models that have come up for bid over the last few years! Michael is selling bikes now.  //www.cooperbikes.com/   Mini Estate

I'm not sure whether it matters or not but Michael Cooper signs things using his middle name John with a script that looks exactly like his fathers.

1970Taxi,

The autographed John Cooper Garages Catalog, does that show the Corgi die cast Cooper Garage Mini Models that were available at the time that John signed the roofs on? Do you happen to possess one of those models? I would be interested in the signed duffle bag. Can you post a photo or email it to me at [email protected] Thanks a lot.       Mini Estate

Hi 1970Taxi

The models you got are not worth much. They are quite common.

The Rally Minis with stuff on the roof, $3-5 each

The Corgi Mini, without box and cracked roof paint, $5-7

The red Minis, $ 3-5 each

Orange Brochure, $10-15 if in mint condition.

John Cooper Brochure, Usually sell for 10-20, it will be worth a bit more for the signature, however it looks rough on the picture. It will be how much someone is willing to pay for it.

Driver's handbook. If mint and original, may interest someone whith a coresponing car. But they are modern reproductions available. Repros in mint condition sell for 20.00

Amazing Mini, several on Amazon from 5 to 30 pounds....

The haynes and other Manual Probaly 15-20

More about Mini - Some on amazon at $30

Hope this helps.

Miguel
