+ on Nisonger customer servive. I sent a tach to check out and have a glass crimped on. They phoned directly to tell me it would need a rebiuld as well.

I wanted to add my vote of confidence for Nisonger.

Although I have not had a speedo rebuilt in the past by them, I will in the future.

Their customer service is superb. I had purchased a mechanical temp gauge through a UK Mini supplier when purchasing other goods. It was defective on arrival and installation. I sent an email to Caerbont and had not heard anything for awhile.

I called Nisonger to inquire about repair. I had not purchased the gauge from them but they do warranty work. It appears I received an older gauge although new old stock(old being a couple of years) and it was beyond its warranty from the date of manufacture.

Peter at Nisonger suggested I contact Caerbont to see if they would cover it under warranty and he could replace it. When I mentioned the the slow response, he gave me the proper contact information.

To make along story short, Peter facilitated the warranty replacement and I was not even a customer at that time.

I have since purchased another gauge for one of our cars and when it comes time to refurbish a speedo, I will send it across country even though there is another shop 30 minutes away.

I just checked the dates and it was just over six weeks from when I mailed the package.  5 days to get there, more excellent Canada Post service, three solid weeks before they worked on the items, and then 12 days return via USPS.  USPS tracking ends once the item is in the Canadian system, whereas Canada Post's tracking follows all the way to the door.

I just opened a package from Nissonger containing two Cooper S speedometers that they serviced for me.

They look really good.  I will put one in a car tomorrow and see how well it works.
